Clown HerO Inner-tainment is the brainchild of Nicole Hill: a multifaceted performance artist and unapologetic punster who believes in the power of laughter to disrupt systemic tomfoolery and soothe a spiritually anemic world. Consider me your guide through the ridiculousness of being a spiritual being having a (monstrously) human experience in these dizzying times!
What is Inner-tainment ?
My work is an unbridled collision of language,
music, puppetry, animation, and the absurd—all stirred together with "woo-woo" wisdom and whimsy. These elements combine to create immersive experiences designed to subvert the status quo, soothe the collective spirit, and illuminate our shared "Goof-vinity."
By engaging in the "inner-work of play," I create mirth-filled spaces for the recalibration of both the personal and collective imagination. This approach holds room for the full spectrum of our humanity—acknowledging our profound need to rail and to grieve even as we bask in the ridiculous.This is Inner-tainment: a deliberate invitation to heal, disrupt, and rediscover ourselves through the transformative power of the "sacred-silly."
