WELCOME TO ME-WEE'S PLAYHOUSE!
THE WORLD IS IN KNOTS.
ME-WEE HAS A PLAN.
IT'S... NOT A VERY GOOD ONE.
Hi. I'm Nicole.
Several years ago, while trying to stop, drop, and roll in
a world on fire, I accidentally grew clown-tits.
Naturally, this raised questions.
Those questions slowly grew into Me-Wee's Playhouse—an immersive theatrical adventure filled with puppets, clown, music, animation, impossible questions, and unexpected invitations.
Somewhere between nostalgic Saturday morning television and an existential meltdown, Me-Wee's Playhouse is a curious love letter to our shared Goof-Vinity—that dizzyingly ridiculous place where we keep tripping over the stories we've inherited and mistaking them for reality.
Around here, Me-Wee calls it living in the
United States of Traumatization.
Inspired in part by the work of the Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures (GTDF) collective, the Playhouse invites grown-ass folk to practice wondering alongside knowing, relationship instead of rescue, and curiosity instead of quick fixes.
Because... Giggles and grief share the same front teeth!
Come prepared to laugh...
Come prepared to wonder...
Come find some good company
to get a little gloriously lost...
And perhaps discover what becomes
possible when nobody has to know the way.
